Linocut Printmaking for Beginners

This workshop runs on two consecutive Thursday afternoons.

Discover the timeless art of linocut printmaking in this beginner-friendly class! 

Learn how to design, carve, and print your own bold and striking images using traditional linoleum block techniques. This hands-on workshop will cover essential tools, carving methods, inking, and printing by hand, allowing you to create unique prints to take home.

Perfect for artists, crafters, and anyone looking to explore a new creative medium—no prior experience is needed! 

All materials are provided.

Hand-Milled Soapmaking Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, create your own luxurious, all-natural soap! Using high-quality, cold-processed soap handcrafted and cured by Vienne at Pink Rock Studio, we will explore the art of hand-milled (rebatch) soap making. 


You’ll blend in botanicals from Surly Owl Farm, enriching your soaps with 

flower essences, essential oils, and natural colorants.

This class is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.


Workshop includes:

  • Introduction to hand-milled soap and its benefits.
     
  • Selecting and blending botanicals, flower essences, and essential oils.
     
  • Working with natural colorants to achieve stunning hues.
     
  • Hands-on mixing, molding, and finishing techniques.
     
  • Tips for curing and storing your soap. 


  • Packaging ideas.


All supplies are provided.

Handmade Paper & Botanical Alchemy at Iron Bridge 

Step into the craft of creating handmade paper—a beginner-friendly workshop where nature meets craft!


We'll blend pulp and petal, fiber and flower, guiding you through the ancient art of paper-making. You'll learn to make your own textured sheets using natural materials and pressed botanicals—perfect for journaling, printing, or gifting something truly unique. 

It’s a tactile, calming process, and you’ll leave with your own stack of beautiful, one-of-a-kind sheets.

All supplies will be provided, including dried herbs, petals, and fibers gathered from our own fields and forests.

No experience needed—just a love for the old ways and a bit of creative spark.

Wool-Craft-Working with Icelandic Fleece

 


Join us for a hands-on, heart-rooted workshop where you’ll learn the art of woolcraft—from raw fleece to magical creation.

We’ll explore the traditional steps of:


✨ Washing and skirting raw Icelandic wool
✨ Hand-processing with simple tools
✨ Spinning basics or felting your own rustic project.


This class is perfect for beginners, fiber-curious folks, or anyone enchanted by the textures and traditions of old-world crafting. Come ready to get your hands into some fleece and leave with something tangible and beautiful—plus the know-how to keep crafting on your own. All participants will leave with a bountiful bag of freshly processed wool!

All wool is provided by our own beloved Icelandic sheep. (Mr. Weasley and Poe)


Spindles, carders, and felting tools are available for use.
Outdoor washing and drying (weather permitting)—prepare for a delightfully messy class!
